Handyman Calculator Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 July 2026

Handyman Calculator collects nothing. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere even in principle.

No data collection

What is stored on your device

Your calculator inputs, your favorites, your history tape of recent calculations, and your unit and display preferences are saved in the app's own private storage so they are still there next time you open it. This information stays on your phone and is visible only to you. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Sharing a result

When you tap share on a result, Android's own share sheet opens and you choose where the text goes. That transfer is performed by the app you pick, not by this one, and it happens only when you ask for it.

Permissions the app uses

None beyond the Android defaults. There is no camera, location, contacts, storage, or internet permission.

Children

Handyman Calculator is a trade and DIY tool intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Accuracy of results

Not a privacy matter, but worth stating plainly: this app is a calculation aid. Building code figures such as stair and framing limits are editable defaults, not an authority. Always check your local code and verify quantities before ordering materials or building. If you find a wrong number, please report it and it will be fixed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collects data or adds network access, that change will be described here before it ships.
